A Viscosity Mystery?

Here's our latest science experiment. We were testing the viscosity of a fluid in our case oil. We heated the oil to various degrees to test the viscosity. Here's a graph to show the results.

The hotter the oil the less viscosity theoretically but that was not the case in this test if you have any reason why this happened can you please post a comment thank you.

Science Test

The other day we were in the school lab. We were making lava lamps in test tubes. Our groups idea was using carbonated water for more bubbles. Our hypothesis was that carbonated water would give bigger blobs. We were right the carbonated water erupted right when the berocca tablet touched the water. We used two test tubes with 5 cm of  normal water and carbonated water with the rest soy oil with food coloring and a bit of the fizzing tablet. It is an experiment for the whole family. http://www.sciencebob.com/experiments/lavalamp.php
